Insights on the need for a secure and scalable data center infrastructure for seamless govt. services to citizens

The Indian govt. plans to spend US $7.8 billion on IT this year, which is a 9.5% growth over last year. A part of this spending would be to ramp up the govt.’s data center infrastructure.

Data centers will form the most crucial element in the Indian govt.’s Digital India campaign. For any of the services that the govt. plans to offer electronically to its citizens, be it Aadhar, digital locker, e-payments, e-hospital, scholarships or numerous others, there will be a need to have a responsive and secure data center infrastructure.

Designing such a data center would be a complex task. With so many critical applications to host and a monumental increase in data volumes, the govt. will have to ensure high availability, reliability, serviceability, scalability, and security of the data centers.

Such data centers would require a new class of secure infrastructure that can detect and protect against a rapidly evolving threat landscape. They would have to be able to safeguard critical applications and the infrastructure, all the while leveraging existing hardware.

This webinar will provide insights by experts on how to enable such a secure and scalable data center infrastructure that would allow the govt. to offer its services seamlessly and securely to Indian citizens.
