Mr. Issa has over seventeen years of experience in building and leading security businesses across the globe, and is known for his unique blend of international business acumen and technical depth in cyber security. In his current role, he is responsible for the definition and execution of business strategies, pursuit of strategic opportunities, identification and penetration of new markets, and the ultimate financial success of SonicWall’s business in APJ.
Prior to joining SonicWall, Mr. Issa held several senior level positions at FireEye, most recently leading all global strategy and business development for FireEye’s services businesses, comprised of Mandiant Consulting, iSight Threat Intelligence, and FireEye Managed Services (FaaS). Prior to this role, he concurrently held two distinct roles, serving as Managing Director, Managed Servicesas well as President of FireEye Japan, where he built, led, and grew FireEye’s managed services business in APJ, and led all business and country operations for FireEye Japan, respectively. Mr. Issa joined FireEye through its USD $1B acquisition of Mandiant Corporation.
In 2013, Mandiantrecruited Mr. Issa to lead a core security consulting business in the Americas.In that role, he helped major corporations detect and respond to severe computer intrusions and crimes.
Prior to joining Mandiant, Mr. Issa led Symantec’s worldwide security management services, protecting many of the most recognized brands in the world. Early in his career Mr. Issa held roles at UBS, Wells Fargo and a technology start-up in Washington, D.C.
